Captain J. R. Carnahan received a dispatch last night from Tolono, Illinois, announcing the death of his sister, Mrs. Lida Love, wife of Rev. D. K. Love, after a long and painful illness. The remains will arrive here this afternoon and funeral services will be held Thursday at Dayton, Dr. Rice, of Logansport, formerly pastor of the Second Presbyterian Church of this city, officiating.—Lafayette Journal, 25th
